Flowers for Algernon - Daniel Keyes

A touching book by Daniel Keyes, it explores themes of rather controversial topics while keeping it emotional and heart felt. All the factors blend into an enchanting sci-fi. Since I'm not the type to read Sci-fi, I considered not reading it, but the emotional value of the problem at its core made me stay - and I'm glad I did.
